How It Works

Oregano essential oil is steam-distilled from the oregano plant. It is rich in naturally aromatic compounds such as carvacrol and thymol, which give it its strong, warm, herbaceous scent. Because it is so concentrated, only a few drops are needed, and it must always be diluted before it touches skin.

How to Use

• Diffuser: add 2-3 drops to the water in your diffuser.
• Topical blends: always dilute in a carrier oil first. Do not go above 1% (about 1 drop per teaspoon of carrier oil).
