Polysorbate 80 Liquid 100ml – Cosmetic-Grade Raw Material | Earth Nourish

Cosmetic-grade polysorbate 80 liquid (100ml), a solubiliser and emulsifier for DIY skincare, bath and body products.

How It Works

Polysorbate 80 is a non-ionic surfactant. One end of its molecule is attracted to oil and the other to water, so it can pull oils, such as essential oils, evenly into water instead of letting them float on top.

Key Benefits

• Blends essential oils and fragrance oils into water-based products
• Helps make clear toners, mists, bath products and room sprays
• Mild and compatible with many other ingredients
• Liquid form that is easy to measure and mix

Ingredients

Polysorbate 80 (INCI). Single ingredient.

How to Use

• Typical use level: 1-5% of the total formula.
• To solubilise an oil, mix it first with polysorbate 80. A common starting ratio is 3-4 parts polysorbate 80 to 1 part oil.
• Stir this oil blend into the water slowly and keep mixing until clear.
• Patch test the finished product. Avoid eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
• Storage: keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place.

Use levels are typical guidance only. Always test your formulation and follow the cosmetic regulations in your country.
