Salicylic Acid Powder 100g – Cosmetic-Grade Raw Material | Earth Nourish

Cosmetic-grade salicylic acid powder (100g) for DIY skincare formulations.

How It Works

Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA). Unlike water-soluble acids, it dissolves in oil, so it can work inside pores. It helps loosen dead skin cells and excess oil, which is why it is a classic ingredient in acne-care and exfoliating products.

Key Benefits

• Oil-soluble BHA that works within pores
• Widely used in blemish-care, cleansers, toners and spot treatments
• Effective at low use levels, so 100g goes a long way
• Pack size suits small-batch DIY formulation

Ingredients

Salicylic Acid (INCI). Single ingredient.

How to Use

• Typical use level: 0.5-2% in leave-on products.
• Dissolve the powder in a suitable solvent such as ethanol or propylene glycol before adding it to your formula.
• It works best at an acidic pH, around 3 to 4.
• Products with salicylic acid can make skin more sensitive to sun. Advise users to wear sunscreen.
• Patch test the finished product. Avoid eyes and broken skin. Wear gloves and avoid inhaling the powder. Keep out of reach of children.
• Storage: keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place.

Use levels are typical guidance only. Always test your formulation and follow the cosmetic regulations in your country.
